Victoria University’s (VU) Career Mentoring Program aims to provide a positive mentoring experience for VU students and industry career mentors. Students can learn from their mentors and start navigating their career development and employability!

Victoria University’s award-winning mentoring programs have been running for a decade.

The VU Career Mentoring Program provides different options to get involved in the mentoring experience.

  • One-to-one mentoring in a personalised six-month mentoring program.
  • Group-facilitated mentoring sessions focused on developing the student's personal and professional development.

Without mentors such as you, we would not be able to be able to provide these opportunities to students of Victoria University as they progress through their studies and transition into graduate employment.

Code of conduct

At Victoria University we have expectations of our mentors and students, these are outlined on the Career Mentoring Program Code of Conduct.

It is important that mentors and students are aware and agree to the standards of professional behaviour and also help to ensure the safety of participants while participating in the programs.

Testimonials

The [mentoring program] gave me valuable insights on how to secure an internship and graduate program before I graduate. Masterclasses were very interactive and full of fun activities to practise learned strategies.
