The Victorian Government announced a seven-day, state-wide circuit breaker lockdown from 11.59pm, Thursday 27 May, in an effort to mitigate the current COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Since then, State Government has announced an extension to the ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown—in metropolitan Melbourne only—for at least 7 more days. This closure impacts Victoria University and VU Sport programs and services.
VU Sport facilities and on-campus programs and services will remain closed from Friday 28 May to Thursday 10 June (inclusive) as per the Victorian Government directive. Normal business is planned to resume from Friday 11 June but this is conditional on further advice from State Government.
