Our activities online are designed to improve your health, performance and personal fulfilment … helping you thrive during times of isolation and social distancing.

While in some instances we cannot see you in person, we would love for you and your family to join us in one of the sessions below to stay active, have fun and keep connected.

Programs are available to anyone – you don’t need to be a gym member, student or staff of VU – we are inviting everyone in the community to join in.

Kids and adults sessions are available. Join in as a family or select the sessions that suit you best.

Kids' Blast Online Program

The Kids' Blast Online Program will offer your family the opportunity to be active while you are at home.

Our qualified coaches will run live and pre-recorded session that will focus on having a blast, keeping fit and healthy, and learning some new skills! Join an amazing group of kids that want to keep fit and active and share in the fun of being part of our online team together. The sessions are aimed at primary-school-aged children.

VU Sport – Gaming Mania

While we are unable to play sport together, let's bring it online. Join one of our FIFA or 2K tournaments and play against other members of your VU community for the ultimate glory of victory!

We are open to suggestions of other games too. We are planning to run tournaments on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and earlier consoles if necessary, so no one is left out. Please register your interest by providing some personal details below, as we will use them to design our competitions in the best way possible.

We'd love to have as many players as we can, so spread the word and help us keep everyone connected at a time when it is needed most. When everyone's responses are in, we will contact you all with further details.

Running or walking can significantly improve physical and mental health.

As a form of aerobic exercise, running or walking can reduce stress and improve heart health. No matter where you are or what your fitness abilities, let's run or walk together separately, share our achievements and support each other during these difficult times.

While people are working and studying at home, VU Sport is now offering free health and exercise advice online.

Get in touch if you have any questions about the following:

  • exercise options while the gyms are closed
  • your goals and achieving them
  • any injuries you may have, and how to work around them
  • general health advice to stay fit and healthy.
