Thrive: Active living program

Victoria University's active living program – Thrive – encourages us all to be more active and mindful.

Our free activities are designed improve your health, performance and personal fulfillment … and help you thrive.

We have five exciting program streams:

  • Have fun, be happy and feel calm
  • Stay healthy and live vital
  • Build your fitness, challenge yourself and be fierce
  • Join a team and come play
  • Learn new things and make new friends, let’s chat.

Social sport

Bring your friends and socialise! All abilities are welcome. Games are held at the Footscray Park Campus Aquatic & Fitness Centre (VUAFC)

  • Volleyball every Monday, 4.15pm, Court 2*
  • Badminton every Tuesday, 5pm, Court 3
  • Basketball every Wednesday, 4.15pm, Court 1
  • Table tennis every Friday, 4.15pm, Court 1.

*Volleyball will be running from 3-4pm on Monday the 6 August and Monday 13 August due to court availability.

VU River Walkers

Get your steps up, de-stress, socialise, relax and enjoy the scenery. VU River Walkers are walking every day at 12.15pm, from the VUAFC.
