Searching for accommodation with a friend

If you would like to look for accommodation with other students, join the House Hunting Friends group on Facebook. This is where you can meet other students online and help each other find suitable housing.

  • access to the student housing database
  • advice on tenancy issues
  • tips and information to improve your success in applying for housing
  • information about moving in
  • staying and moving out of your rental property.

Housing workshops

Tenancy workshops

Tenancy workshops are conducted during the semesters. They will to help you:

  • understand your tenancy rights and obligations
  • learn what to do to maintain your tenancy
  • build a good rental reference.

Moving out and moving on

Moving Out and Moving On workshops will help you understand what you need to do to move out, move on and get your bond back. These events are advertised on the Student Housing Database and VU events web pages.
