Learn how to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty with the Workplace Level II First Aid certificate.

You will gain practical first aid skills and knowledge, including recognition and management of:

  • CPR
  • application of a Defibrillator
  • bandaging and splinting 
  • burns, poisons, bites and stings
  • head, neck and spinal injuries
  • wounds and bleeding
  • choking and shock

The course consists of 7 hours face-to-face learning plus pre-course online theory. You need to complete an eLearning program prior to attending the practical session.

This certificate is fully compliant with the Australian Skills Quality Authority and is delivered by experienced trainers.

Course objectives

To equip learners with first aid practical skills and knowledge such as: CPR, bandaging and splinting and applying the principles of first aid safety.

Students must complete all the assessment components for this unit.
