Overview

This course is aimed at preparing a celebrant to design and perform a funeral ceremony in a professional and respectful manner, with the needs of the client’s family in mind.

Learn to provide a well-organised service in a caring and supportive way. We'll help you gain the skills and knowledge to:

  • make a presentation
  • provide loss and grief support
  • plan and conduct funeral ceremonies
  • work effectively in the funeral services industry.

Course contents

Successful completion of all 4 units of competency.

This course is aimed at preparing a celebrant to design and perform a funeral ceremony in a professional and respectful manner, with the needs of the client’s family in mind.

Admission requirements

Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee you entry into this course.

Some courses receive more applications than the number of places available. In this situation we will also assess your education, work and other relevant experience.
