Ancy joined the Victoria University Business School as a lecturer in 2016. She is currently the Human Resource Management program coordinator (Bachelor of Business), and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate units in this area. She is also the Site Coordinator for Sunway College (Malaysia) and Lithan Academy (Singapore).

Ancy’s teaching philosophy is based around student-centred learning, and she has designed units that incorporate interactive learning activities (including audience response technology and discussion forums).

Originally trained as a corporate lawyer, Ancy has previously worked in practitioner roles overseas. She brings to her academic role diverse industry experience from the banking sector, legal services and not-for-profit community organisations. Her research focus is on the not-for-profit sector. She has conducted studies that addressed the need for value-based management practices in this sector.

Ancy is also the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Student Alumni Award, and of the VU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship. She delivered the Valedictorian address at the VU graduation ceremony in 2010.
