VU's MBA top in Australia

Victoria University’s MBA has been ranked number one in Australia and number six in the global Top 20 by London-based CEO magazine.

Delivered through the College of Business’ postgraduate arm – the Victoria Graduate School of Business (VGSB) – CEO magazine’s International Graduate Forum ranked our Master of Business Administration as Australia’s leading MBA for its excellent lecturers, small class sizes, student diversity, value-for-money, and international study options.

MBA Coordinator Dr Colin Drake said the award recognises our commitment to providing students with a solid grounding in the business skills and knowledge that 21st century employers look for in astute leaders. These include commercial acumen, creative thinking and problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Our MBA students, who come from business and non-business backgrounds, are encouraged to network with their range of classmates to apply their learning to real business situations.

“There is real value in pursuing an MBA as a springboard to a better job, promotions and increased earning power. But brand and prestige are not everything – we believe that an MBA should also be accessible and affordable to those who really want to have an edge and more confidence in today’s competitive working world.”

Established in 1992, the MBA is taught in the heart of Melbourne’s business district at our City Flinders Campus, and is available full-time over one-and-a-half years (two years from 2015) or part-time over three years. Many of our MBA students are already full-time professionals whose existing commitments are accommodated through flexible learning.

The MBA offers specialisations in accounting, business administration, enterprise resource planning, finance, human resource management, logistics and supply chain management and marketing.
