As part of the 2020 Stanford University Women in Data Science conference, VU is proud to host the regional event in Melbourne on 30 March 2020.
The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative began as a conference at Stanford University in 2015. It aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field.
The WiDS conference hosted by VU will celebrate the women of data science in Melbourne. All genders are invited to attend this event, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work. Speakers include industry leaders, data scientists, data consultants and analytic professionals.
The global Women in Data Science conference is held every year at Stanford University, USA and features inspiring keynote speakers, technical talks and networking opportunities for all attendees.
WiDS Melbourne conference is an independent event hosted by Victoria University Business School to coincide with the annual global WiDS conference and an estimated 150+ regional events worldwide.
