Playlist 2018: VU Arts Exhibition

Wednesday 29 August 2018 to Friday 28 September 2018

PLAYLIST 2018 is a series of works and samples showcasing the progress of Victoria University students studying diverse Arts disciplines.

Collected randomly but with purpose, the artworks are representative of the passions, humour, concerns and provocations of a complex and dynamic community arts practice at Victoria University. The exhibition documents a moment in time, similar to a playlist, presenting an expression and celebration of shared interests and experiences.

Students from music, screen media, politics, sociology, history, writing, literary studies, digital media, communications and more are involved in this multidisciplinary student exhibition.

Project Presentations

VU Creative Arts students design and undertake a year-long arts project in their final year of undergraduate study. Projects encompass a dizzying array of arts disciplines and ideas, from short stories, poetry and novellas to podcasts, original music compositions and filmmaking.

VU at Metrowest will host three sessions for students to present their progress and work towards their project completions, discussing challenges and learning and celebrating significant achievements.
