IDAHOBIT 2025: Pride exhibition

Come along to the launch of the Pride exhibition at Footscray Park Library on Tuesday 20 May, from 11.30am-12.30pm.

The exhibition launch is part of IDAHOBIT 2025 to mark the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on 17 May.

The exhibition highlights the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) community at VU and beyond, with various displays:

• items of VU’s recent history celebrating Pride
• vibrant display of books, stories, and resources from the Library collections, Research Repository, Special Collections and archives that spotlight queer voices and lived experiences
• a Lego installation
• photo exhibit.

This exhibition will run until 30 June during library opening hours.
