You're invited to the annual Chancellor's lecture, delivered by Vanessa Wilkins, Founder of Future School Lab.
Lecture title: Partnerships for the future of learning and work: How business, philanthropy and all of us can help schools prepare our children for the future.
Automation, climate change and globalisation are displacing jobs, changing our world, and creating new problems and opportunities. Educators everywhere are struggling to keep up with the pace of change in a school system designed for a different era.
Join Vanessa to hear lessons learned from innovative partnership programs at Nike and philanthropies across the US supporting schools to better prepare students for the future of learning and work. Though the US is blessed with a culture of innovation, it has failed to apply that effectively in education in a way that helps all children succeed. It is important that Australia doesn’t follow that path.
Together, we can make school relevant, engaging and equitable for all kids.
