Breaking down boundaries & stereotypes - seminar

This event has already taken place.

Wednesday 8 March 2017

This seminar is an International Women's Day event which has been organised by Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering (WIE) Victoria.

Our invited speaker, Julia Gibney has 23 years of experience in aviation engineering. She will talk about the steps she has taken in her career path so far to make a difference with known stereotypes of being a single parent, initially not completing high school but moving onto completing a Bachelors and Masters degrees as a mature age student and having little family support.
