Celebrate the start of the university year with a free, massive concert featuring the biggest names in Asian pop

To mark the start of the 2017 university year and welcome this year’s international students, Arts Centre Melbourne and City of Melbourne will host Asia Pop Fest: a huge pop concert at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

From 5–7pm, the amphitheatre will offer gaming, student support info, an acoustic stage and more.

From 7pm onwards, Asia Pop Fest will feature a stellar line-up of music superstars, including K-pop superstar Ailee, Singaporean singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono, who came runner up in the 2016 series of Sing! China, and a special guest appearance by virtual Japanese pop star IA (who rose to fame as an avatar from the voice synthesizer software Vocaloid).

Tickets are free for students, but need to be booked in advance.

Registration for this event has now closed.
