Exercise class descriptions

Yoga Fusion

Yoga Fusion (55 minute class) is excellent for developing general tone and fitness whilst soothing the nervous system. Safe for general Back Pain, Arthritis and Osteoporosis sufferers and beneficial for post natal women.

VU Strength

VU Strength is a rapid fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscles! You will learn the basic strength movement patterns to develop your body with functional and traditional movements. (Tuesday and Thursday mornings it is a 45min class).

Kettlebell

Kettlebell is designed to improve your power, strength, reflexes, agility, sporting performance and more. You will learn the basics of how to use the kettlebell and be guided through a series of exercise that will suit beginners to those who are more advanced.

TRX

TRX suits all levels of fitness, from beginner to advanced. TRX or suspension training focuses on core strength, functional movement, abdominals and lower back in particular, whilst getting an all over workout. Participants will enjoy these workouts at an effective but less hectic pace.

HiiT

HiiT (High Intensity Interval Training) is an exercise strategy that alternates periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. It helps improve athletic capacity and fat burning.

Stretch

Stretch focuses on lengthening muscles, restoring energy and revitalising you for the day. It’s gentle on the body and suitable for all fitness levels.

Core

Core is a fantastic workout which concentrates on toning and firming your lower body and strengthening your core.

Master Movers

Master Movers (45mins) is designed specifically for those who have cardiac concerns, diabetes or other conditions.

Cardio Express

Half an hour to get your heart rate up! Set the intensity to your individual level with a variety of ways to increase your cardio and metabolic expenses. Incorporating running, skipping, cardio equipment and more.
