Victoria University Community Sports Stadium
Victoria University Community Sports Stadium is a four-court, indoor sports and recreation stadium.
Located at the Western Bulldogs Football Club, Whitten Oval, the facility includes:
- courts lined for basketball, netball, futsal, volleyball and badminton
- competition grade timber flooring and lighting
- change rooms and toilets
- court side seating
- onsite parking
- proximity to West Footscray train station.
Opening hours
- Monday to Friday: 9am—11pm
- Saturday: 8am—6.30pm
- Sunday: 8am—10pm
Please note that opening hours are subject to change according to bookings. To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to email ahead with your request.

Community competitions & programs
The VU Community Sports Stadium is a proud supporter of our community clubs, programs and associations. It is host venue to various junior competitions and adult social sport.
Competition entry is $2.20 per person for all competitiors and spectators 10 years and older.

Our stadium available for hire and ideal for:

- school programs - physical education classes, inter-school competitions

We suggest contacting us via email to request a booking. Providing the following information will assist in facilitating your request:
- booking type (e.g. sport specific, or court space only)
- number of courts required
- start and end time, inclusive of setup & pack down
- date range
- number of participants.
Casual shooting is available depending on bookings. We recommend calling ahead to determine court availability.
