This unit introduces students to 3D modelling and animation from a visual effects perspective. It will provide students with foundational knowledge of the visual effects industry. The unit will introduce student with key concepts and production techniques involved in the design, creation and animation of 3D objects and environments for the purpose of visual effects.

Students will critically evaluate appropriate approaches and methods of 3D animation to plan, develop and create 3D elements for visual effects.
