We aim to enrich your social and learning opportunities and help you settle into life at Victoria University, with various events and activities to take part in both on and off campus.
Find the right balance between study, work and play:
Clubs & societies
Joining a club or society is a great way to become part of the Victoria University community.
Our clubs & societies include everything from Australian Rules Football, soccer and cheerleading, through to music, writing and free enterprise.
There are free music lessons, health information sessions and law competitions. You could dance at a ball or join an excursion or study group.
Many of our sporting clubs offer social sport days, so you can come and try a new sport for fun.
And if there’s not a club or society to suit you, you can start your own!
Campus & social sports
There are plenty of ways to stay active while you study with our campus & social sport activities!
Campus (lunchtime) sport
Get active in your lunch break with friends and classmates. Campus sports are a fun, free lunchtime sporting opportunity for the entire University Community.
Experience new adventures whilst making new friends.
Talk to your College Society and organise a team to compete in a College Social Sport Challenge.
Join other students & staff for fun and friendship at a social sport activity.
Community sport & fitness events
VU participates in a number of community events encouraging healthy and active lifestyles. Students, staff, alumni and friends can get involved as participants or part of our volunteer support crew - VUnite.
