About Wendy Rollins
Wendy is a social worker and social work educator with extensive experience gained through practice, teaching, management and leadership roles in a range of contexts.
Her experience of the influence of neoliberal ideas on social policies and practices on frontline social work practice led to research to better understand how:
- social workers understand ‘relationship’ in their practice in this context
- they use relational knowledge to inform self-in-practice and engagement with clients.
This has resulted in the development of Social Work Relationship Praxis (SWRP). Wendy is also using this developing knowledge to contribute to undergraduate professional practice education.
