About Nick Sciulli

Associate Professor Nick Sciulli has been working in academia for 32 years and has teaching interests in corporate reporting and issues in financial accounting.

Dr Sciulli's early research interests centred on Public sector accounting/management and his PhD thesis was on the topic of Outsourcing and Competitive Tendering in the Public Sector. Later in his career an interest in sustainability developed, with a focus on the disclosures of financial and non-financial data by organisations. This research has then evolved to address the needs of stakeholders and what their needs are across the tiers of financial, social and environmental disclosures.

Dr Sciulli has published widely in international journals, presented numerous papers at conferences and has collaborated on a number of research projects with academics in the US, Italy and Indonesia. He is an active supervisor for students enrolled in PhD programs.
