Overview
Develop skills in wheeled front end loader operations in order to work on large-scale construction sites and infrastructure projects in the booming construction industry. You will gain hands-on experience in driving and operating equipment correctly, prestart checks and shutdown procedures, as well as tool selection and safe work practices.
In this course, you will learn how to:
- plan and prepare for wheeled front end loader operations
- operate the front end loader
- attach, secure, life, carry and place materials
- prepare to relocate the front end loader
- carry out machine operator maintenance.
At the successful completion of this training, you will be issued with the nationally recognised unit of competency in: RIIMPO321F Conduct civil construction wheeled front end loader operations.
Course contents
In order to be issued a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency withinTNAAO Introduction to Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations, a student must successfully undertake the following unit:

Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Credit Transfers
Previous completion of units at the Polytechnic or any other Registered Training Organisation and/or previous attainment of skills and knowledge may be credited towards this course.
