Mindful Crafting with headspace

Join a mindful craft session, pick up practical tools for looking after mental health, and find out how headspace Werribee can help. For young people aged 16–25 only.
Ready to Respond: CPR Essentials
- Wednesday 2 September, 1-2pm
- Jamieson Way Community Centre, 59 Jamison Way, Point Cook
Learn how to recognise and respond to adult cardiac emergencies with confidence. This hands-on session covers hands-only CPR, defibrillator use and the key actions that can improve survival while waiting for emergency services.
Ready to Respond: Childhood Emergencies
- Wednesday 2 September, 2:30–3:30pm
- Jamieson Way Community Centre, 59 Jamieson Way, Point Cook
Build your confidence and skills to respond to emergencies involving babies and children. This hands-on session covers how to recognise and manage anaphylaxis and choking, age-appropriate CPR, defibrillator use and essential care while waiting for emergency services.
VU Skills on Wheels Pop-Up Barbershop
- Wednesday 2 September, 4–7pm
- Youth Services Hoppers Crossing, 86 Derrimut Road
Drop in for a free haircut from our VU barbering students and help support the next generation of barbers with valuable hands-on experience. Delivered in collaboration with Wyndham Youth Services, for young people aged 12–25 from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Getting Started at the Gym

This guided, small-group session introduces you to gym equipment and beginner-friendly exercises, so you can feel confident in the gym and get the most out of every workout. Suitable for all fitness levels, ages 16+.
