"Hearing how much my brother was enjoying his studies at VU prompted my research into their . It was clear that VU is an industry leader in this area and after touring the facilities I was completely sold. Being offered a Chancellor’s Scholarship was an added bonus as I’d already placed the Bachelor of Exercise Science and Psychology as my top choice.
I learnt from brilliant academics who ignited my passion for areas of study I had never previously considered. I was also given a wonderful opportunity to go on exchange to Canada which pushed me out of my comfort zone to learn in a different environment.
I also undertook a semester-long placement at in the Sons of The West program. I credit this as one of the greatest experiences the University has offered its students for our success. The placement allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge I had learnt over the first couple of years in my course.
VU’s hands-on approach has meant that in addition to learning theory, we also appreciate why these theories are important and how they can be applied to real-world scenarios.
