Tania is a Project Manager in the School for the Visitor Economy. The School provides local and international hospitality, tourism and event management industries with qualified professionals. They also undertake cross disciplinary research allowing the school to respond to industry problems and evolving opportunities.
Tania undertakes a range of projects within the School to ensure its objectives are met. She works closely with industry partners to develop new and existing opportunities.
As a qualified careers counsellor with over 20 years of experience in recruitment, Tania also works with students to provide individual career counselling to enhance employability and optimise employment outcomes.
Prior to joining Victoria University, Tania worked for Accor Hotels in Melbourne in a Human Resources capacity.
She holds a Bachelor of Business, Graduate Certificate in Careers Counselling, and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Tania has been awarded the following:
- Winner, Faculty Staff Award, Outstanding Service (Team Award) – 2011
- Winner, Vice Chancellor’s Award, for Programs that Enhance Learning - Industry Engagement, (Team Award) - 2007.
