At Victoria University we prioritise a safe and inclusive environment. If you wish to make a complaint or concern it will be treated with respect and confidentiality.

If you or someone you know has experienced or witnessed any inappropriate or concerning behaviour you can report it – either anonymously or with contact details.

If your issue is an emergency, please dial 000 for emergency services (police, ambulance, firefighters) or refer to other emergency supports

Talk2VU - feedback, complaints & workplace concerns

Talk2VU allows VU students and staff members to share feedback and raise issues, even if you're not sure who you need to talk to. We want to hear from you – safely, fairly and with care. To raise concerns, complaints, safety issues or feedback, go to Talk2VU (students) or Talk2VU (staff). Lodge a complaint or concern by selecting the information relevant to you and reporting your issue via an online form. Your report will be reviewed and appropriate action taken. Where necessary, if you provide us with your contact details, we will contact you within three working days to follow up on your report.

    For complaints relating to discrimination, harassment, bullying, cyber abuse, stalking, sexual harassment, sexual assault, child safety concern, family violence, threats/threatening behaviour, other serious issues affecting your personal safety and wellbeing, access the report form here. 

    Your report will be recorded and reviewed and appropriate action taken.

    Note that you don’t have to give your name, but this may limit the actions the University can take and the support that can be offered to you. Choosing to report anonymously allows you to report an incident without disclosing personal details. The information you give will help inform prevention work across the University. Please be aware if reports are submitted anonymously the University is limited in the action it can take and the reporter will not receive any information relating to any potential action taken. If you would like to speak to someone, need direct support or guidance, or would like a formal investigation to take place, please choose to disclose your contact details and an advisor will contact you.
