Please note that for CA ANZ accreditation, exemption for BEO6501 - Quantitative Analysis as an integrated unit applies only if BLO5539- Australian income tax law and practice is completed successfully in your BMAK study. Entry requirements

English language requirements

You must provide evidence that you have completed an approved English language test, and achieved the result as described below:

Recognition of prior English language studies

If you have completed a qualification where English was the primary language of instruction, you may be eligible for an English language exemption. Check our Guide to English Language Requirements to find out if you qualify.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements may choose to undertake an intensive English course at the English Language School in Sydney (ELSIS).

Academic requirements

Entry into the Master of Business (Accounting) requires you to have completed:

  • Bachelor/Honours degree: Successful completion of a non-cognate (any discipline) Bachelor/Honours Degree and a Graduate Certificate in a cognate (similar discipline) field.
    Successful completion of a non-cognate (any discipline) Bachelor/Honours Degree and four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least 2 of the 4 years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the College.
  • International: In addition to satisfying the Bachelor/Honours Degree or Mature Age admission requirements, International Students must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language as demonstrated by: International English Language Testing System or its equivalent - overall score of 6.5 and no individual band score less than 6.
  • Mature: In the absence of a Bachelor/Honours Degree, 7 years full-time work experience including at least 3 of the 7 years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role in business, logistics or supply chain management as approved by the College.
