Giving back
The best thing about my course is the work placements. I’ve completed a placement at Austin Hospital in mental health within paediatrics and the experience was fantastic. My goal is to work as an intensive care nurse in the neonatal unit.

"This experience as a patient spurred my interest in nursing and I want to give back what I’ve been given.
"The Western Chances Scholarship and Achievement Scholarship have helped out a lot with text books, parking and travel. It will also help give me the edge on my resume because nursing is very competitive.
