The Uniquely You TechnologyOne Scholarship supports academic excellence, professional development, and inclusive representation within the tech and STEM sectors.

About the scholarship

This scholarship offers hands-on industry experience to students who come from under-represented backgrounds who can demonstrate equity-related disadvantage.

Through a structured partnership between Victoria University and TechnologyOne, the scholarship provides:

  • Financial support 
  • Academic success programs and personal development support 
  • Engagement with key parts of TechnologyOne’s business, including, but not limited to, research and development (R&D), project management and sales 
  • Opportunity to spend time in TechnologyOne offices 
  • A strong pathway from study to meaningful employment 

Eligibility

To be considered for the Uniquely You TechnologyOne Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Cyber Security, Bachelor of Data Science, or Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional)
  • Maintain a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5
  • Agree to participate in industry engagement and employability development 
  • Identify as coming from an underrepresented background, such as:
    • First in their family to attend university 
    • From First Nations communities 
    • From refugee, asylum seeker or culturally diverse backgrounds 
    • From rural or regional communities 
    • Women facing barriers or discrimination
    • LGBTQIA+, including trans and gender-diverse students
    • Living with disability or other barriers to access
  • Show evidence of equity-related need, including financial hardship, systemic discrimination, and generational barriers to education.

Value

  • This scholarship is valued at up to $35,000.
  • Scholarships will be paid in instalments, subject to satisfactory academic progression

Assessment & selection

  • Applications will be shortlisted by a representative of the VU Scholarships Office.
  • Shortlisted applicants will then be reviewed by the Uniquely You Scholarships panel.
