Dr Shiran Geng is a lecturer at Victoria University, with extensive experience in teaching and coordinating various subjects within the Built Environment discipline at First Year College.
She is passionate about integrating teaching pedagogy with cutting-edge research knowledge in the Built Environment field. Prior to joining VU, Shiran completed both her Master's and Bachelor's in Architecture at the University of Melbourne.
Her research focuses on architectural heritage, Smart Heritage, Smart Cities, sustainable urban environments, and healthcare environments, employing mixed methods. She has a wide range of high-impact publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers. She is actively engaged in research in these fields and is open to supervision opportunities to collaborate with and guide students in their academic journeys.
