Bicycle hubs

Park your bike at our City Tower, Footscray Park, Footscray Nicholson and Sunshine campuses. 

Each location features bicycle hubs equipped with showers, lockers for your clothing and secure bike parking.

Registration

Complete the bike hub application form and submit it to the Digital and Campus Services portal on VU Support Hub (login required).

Cost

You'll need an access fob to use our bike hubs. This costs $25. You can use the same fob across all of our bike hubs.

The fee is refundable once you return the fob. To request a refund, complete the Bike Hub Deposit Refund form on VU Support Hub (login required).

Explore our bike hubs

The City Tower bike hub is located in a secured area on Basement 01. It has parking space for 248 bikes, including charging stations for E-bikes.

A female (room CTB108) and male (room CTB107) shower facility is available, including hairdryers and straighteners.

There are 92 lockers adjacent to the bike parking. Each locker has a smart digital lock for daily use and automatically unlocks at midnight each night. All belongings must be removed at the end of each day. 

Deposit refunds

You can get your deposit back when you:

  1. submit a bike hub deposit refund form
  2. return the access fob and locker key (if you had one) to the Security office or the Facilities Service Desk at Footscray Park Campus, Room E101.

TravelSmart maps

TravelSmart Maps containing cycling routes near the VU campuses are available from VUHQ at Footscray Nicholson and Footscray Park.
