VU Early Entry application promotion: terms & conditions

Terms & conditions

1. The Promoter is Victoria University (ABN: 83 776 954 731, CRICOS Provider No. 00124K) PO Box 14428, Melbourne, Victoria 8001

2. All information on 'how to enter' forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering into these terms and conditions each Entrant warrants that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.

3. The Promotion commences on 21 April 2026 at 12:00am AEST and closes on 12 October 2026 at 5.00pm AEDT. (“the Promotion Period”). Any entry that is not received during the Promotion Period will be invalid.

4. Entrants will receive a confirmation message at the time of their entry, if completing an online form. For online entries, the time of entry will be the time at which the completed online entry form is received by the Promoter's online database. For hard copy forms, it will be the time at which the data it is entered in the Victoria University’s Customer Relationship Management system (CRM system) by the Promoter. Entrants will be notified via email upon data entry in the CRM system.

5. There will be a separate draw for each prize. The draws will take place at:

• 9.00am AEST on 1 July, 2026  for the Camp Snap Instant Camera;
• 9.00am AEST on 2 September, 2026 for the Airpods 4; and 
• 9.00am AEDT on 13 October, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2,

at Victoria University, Footscray Park Campus. The winners will be drawn from all applications received from the commencement date.

6. Entrants will only be eligible to win once. When their entry is drawn, it will be excluded from any subsequent draws.

7. The Promoter will randomly select one winner for each draw.

8. The Promoter will contact the winner by telephone (if available) and email to confirm the Entrant's winning entry within 72 hours of the draw.

9. If contacted by the Promoter you have 14 days to respond to the Promoter’s contact. Once that time period has elapsed the winner will forfeit their prize and the Promoter will select another winner.

10. Subject to clause 8, the winner will be mailed their prize via registered mail to their nominated mailing address and will not be able to collect their prize in person.

11. The winner's name will be published on the Student Life webpage, located at https://www.vu.edu.au/student-life/life-on-campus/competitions as well as the Victoria University – Australia Facebook Page.

Eligibility

12. Entry is open to Australian Residents aged 15 years and over. Entrants must be individuals and not companies or other entities. Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter and associated agencies and/or companies in any way involved in the Promotion, are not valid Entrants in the Promotion.

13. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.

How to enter

14. Entrants must complete all required sections of the VU Early Entry application form.

15. Entrants may enter in the Promotion once only.

Personal information

16. The Promoter will collect the Entrant’s personal information, including the Entrant’s name, likeness and email address details which it will keep in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, located  at http://www.vu.edu.au/privacy.

17. The Entrants agree to receive information and marketing communications from the Promoter.

18. In the event that the Entrant is the winner of the Promotion, the Entrant consents to the disclosure, publication and dissemination of their name and likeness for the purposes of the Promotion, and the Promoter’s advertising and marketing purposes (as winner of the Promotion).

19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.

20. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.

Prize details

21. There are 3 prizes to be won: 

• Camp Snap Digital Compact Camera valued at $129; 
• Apple Airpods 4 valued at $219; and 
• Nintendo Switch 2 valued at $699.

22. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing.

23. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

Decision final

24. In all matters relating to the Promotion, all decisions of the Promoter and its staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
