Student Experience Survey Competition: terms & conditions

By entering the 2026 Student Experience Survey (SES) Competition ("the Promotion"), you (“the Entrant”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Promoter is Victoria University (ABN: 83 776 954 731, CRICOS Provider No. 00124K) PO Box 14428, Melbourne, Victoria 8001.
  2. The Promotion commences on 28 July 2026 at 8am AEST and ends on 24 August 2026 at 11:59pm AEST (“The Promotion Period”).
  3. The prize draw will take place at 10am AEST on 8 September 2026 at Footscray Park Campus.
  4. The Promoter will randomly select ten Entrants (“Winners”) from those who have fully completed the survey, as notified to the Promoter by the Social Research Centre (SRC) before that date.
  5. The Promoter will contact the Winners by telephone (if available) and email their VU student email to confirm the Entrant's winning entry on 8 September 2026.
  6. Winners will be emailed their electronic gift card to their nominated email address within 2 business days.
  7. By responding to any contact from the Promoter, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  8. The Winners’ names will be published on the Student Experience Survey (SES) website.

Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to all first year and final year undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) students of Victoria University that have been selected by the Social Research Centre to participate in the 2026 SES and fully complete the SES during the Promotion Period.
  2. Entrants may enter in the Promotion once only.
  3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.

Personal information

  1. Any personal information received by the Promoter in connection with this Promotion will be kept in accordance with the VU privacy policy, located at https://www.vu.edu.au/privacy.
  2. In the event that you are a Winner of the Promotion, you consent to the disclosure, publication and dissemination of your name for the purposes of the Promotion as set out in these terms and conditions.

Prize details

  1. There are ten prizes to be won: VU Flexi e-cards valued at $100 each. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

Decision final

  1. In relation to the Promotion, all decisions of the Promoter will be final.
