2026 Cafe Survey Promotion terms & conditions

1. The promoter is Victoria University (VU) (ABN: 83 776 954 731, CRICOS Provider No. 00124K) PO Box 14428, Melbourne, Victoria 8001.
2. All information on 'how to enter' forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering into these terms and conditions you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
3. The Promotion commences on 27 April 2026 at 8:00am AEST and closes on 8 May 2026 at 3:00pm AEST. (Promotion Period). Any entry that is not received during the Promotion Period will be invalid.
4. The draw will take place on 13 May 2026 at 10:00am AEST at Victoria University, Footscray Park Campus.
5. VU will randomly select six winners.
6. VU will contact the winners by email to their VU student email address to confirm a winning entry within 5 working days of the draw.
7. If contacted by VU, you have 14 days to respond to VU’s contact and provide your nominated email address. Once that time period has elapsed, you forfeit your prize and VU will select another winner.

10. Entry is open to current VU students.
11. Entrants must be individuals and not companies or other entities. Employees and immediate family members of VU and associated agencies and/or companies any way involved in the Promotion, are not valid entrants in the Promotion.
12. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.

VU will collect your personal information, including your name, email address and opinions which it will keep in accordance with the VU privacy policy, located at http://www.vu.edu.au/privacy .
16. By entering the promotion you agree to provide feedback relating to a VU Cafe and may receive contact from VU to follow up on your feedback.
17. In the event that you are a winner of the Promotion, you consent to the disclosure, publication and dissemination of your name for the purposes of the Promotion, and VU’s advertising and marketing purposes (as winner of the Promotion).
18. VU accepts no responsibility for any surveys not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. VU is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times

19. There are six prizes to be won.
20. Each winner will receive an electronic gift card to the value of $50.
21. The prize value is correct as at the date of printing.
22. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

23. In all matters relating to the Promotion, all decisions of VU and its staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
