Guelph is situated in southwestern Ontario, Canada and is 1.5 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Niagara Falls. Guelph is environmentally clean and safe, it has a vibrant arts culture, and is consistently voted one of the most liveable cities in Canada. The University of Guelph has been operating in various forms for over 150 years, but was officially recognised as a university 50 years ago. Western University is located in London, Ontario in Canada's south-east. London is only 170km east of Toronto (Canada's largest city) and is only a short distance from the US border. London is a hub of cultural activity with plenty to do on campus or in the city itself. The Western University campus is centrally located with most services and facilities within walking distance.

For students wishing to go on exchange with a friend or a group; Western is a great option as VU have guaranteed places available here.
