Dr Jackson’s key interest is in evidence-based policy that delivers education system improvement.

Dr Jen Jackson is Adjunct Associate Professor of Education Policy at VU, and former Education Policy Lead for the Mitchell Institute for Education and Health Policy at VU. Dr Jackson has previously worked in early childhood policy and regulation, and completed her PhD on early childhood workforce development. She has led strategic policy initiatives at the Victorian Department of Education and Training and Centre for Policy Development, and conducted research on education system performance at Victoria University, the University of Melbourne, and the Australian Council for Educational Research.
