Dr Carla Kleverlaan graduated from the first Osteopathic program - the Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science), Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in 1999, to become a registered Osteopath. She went on to graduate from the Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Sports Science in 2001 (Victoria University).
She has worked extensively as an Osteopathic health practitioner in Australia, as well as working in the UK and has owned her own clinic. She has a keen interesting in sports and rehabilitation, after being an elite beach volleyball athlete for over a decade.
Through this combined study and life experience Carla recently published a health and wellness book entitled 'Back, Body and Soul – The Doctor Kleverlaan Way'.
Carla has been employed in the College of Health and Biomedicine at Victoria University as a Lecturer in Osteopathy since July 2012 and works primarily in the technique classes, rehabilitation and clinical studies. She is currently undertaking her PhD at Victoria University.
Carla enjoys treating and empowering patients towards improved wellbeing and helping student to grow their skills to become well rounded successful Osteopaths.
