Bhashika is a Teaching Focused Academic within the First Year College Nursing department.
Bhashika started her career as a registered nurse in Cathlab and continued working in Cathlab, ICU, CCU and PACU. She was working with Ramsay Health Care and was engaged with Scrubs Nursing Agency on a casual basis taking on various roles in different acute settings. She also worked within the VET sector as a Nurse educator with Health Careers International.
Bhashika takes pride in being a nurse and is passionate about nursing education. She currently works in Cathlab of Warringal Private Hospital to maintain industrial currency in Nursing. She continues to educate herself about new and emerging evidence based nursing practices. She is a strong believer of ‘Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn’ (Benjamin Franklin). Therefore, she implements high engagement teaching strategies to ensure students are gaining lifelong knowledge and skills. She ensures students are updated with any latest advancements in nursing and healthcare.

- Delivering First aid, CPR and Manual Handling courses within a private RTO setting
Bhashika received her education at the Western Sydney University with a Master in Nursing (Professional studies). She also holds a Bachelor in science of Nursing from Kathmandu University.
