De-stress for exams with VU River Walkers

Come and join us for a 30-minute walk at the Footscray Park Campus to help deal with the stress of exams.
Wednesday 18 October 2017

Improve your focus and decrease your stress with a 30-minute lunchtime walk around Footscray Park and Maribyrnong River.

VU students studying Diploma of Sport Development are inviting students and staff to join them for a lunchtime river walk on 24 October, to help with the stress of exams. VU River Walkers will walk for approximately 15 minutes along the Maribyrnong River before returning to the campus.

Studies have shown that exercising for at least 15 minutes helps to release endorphins, and this helps combat stress and can help you study for your exams. Walking also helps you stay positive and increases your creativity, and can make your study goals look more achievable.

If you’re stressing because of exams or you simply want to stay healthy, active and make new friends, then come and join the VU River Walkers on the 24 October at 12pm.

Where: Meet at VU Aquatic & Fitness Centre reception, building L, level 0 at the Footscray Park Campus

When: 24 October, 12pm
