Drop in at the City Library every Wednesday, 1.30—2.30pm, for a librarian to assist you with finding peer-reviewed information resources for your assessments or research. 

A librarian is available to assist all VU students (TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate), academics and researchers. Sessions are free and appointments are not required – just drop in on the stated day and time.

Students can ask for assistance in:

  • locating peer-reviewed information resources including selecting specialist databases
  • keyword searching
  • searching techniques
  • referencing using APA 7th.

Researchers and academics can seek assistance in:

  • using EndNote
  • managing information
  • using library resources such as research databases, including citation-tracking databases
  • identifying top tier journal publications
  • managing their research profile
  • measuring research impact and getting published.
