Welcome from the Vice-Chancellor
Orientation
Officially, orientation for the start of the 2012 year is over.
This whole section of the website has information that is relevant to new current students. Become familiar with the contents of these pages, consider them a sort of online orientation to VU.
You'll find lots of handy information about :
- services you've got access to like housing, sport, counselling, childcare and many others
- learning support for when you need help with assignments, exams and studying
- how to access to essential services like the Student Portal, email, calendars, enrolments, exams, and so on.
Don't forget social media is a great way to find out about what's happening at VU.
We have a Facebook discussion group for students so you can connect with other students and ask them questions, student to student.
University staff check the official Facebook fan page and might be able to point you in the right direction for information.

On and around campus
Stay safe in Melbourne and reduce the risk to your personal safety.
Our campuses and sites are located across Melbourne's western suburbs and the city centre. There are many services to get you to and from campus, including security escorts, a carpooling program and evening shuttle buses.
