VU to fix fees for students who study in 2014

Victoria University has announced it will fix fees at pre-Budget levels for all Australian (domestic) undergraduate students who commence study this year (up to 31 December 2014).

The fix will apply to all students who are studying, commence study or have taken a formal intermission in the 2014 academic year.

Due to the recent Federal Budget announcements we understand that there is some uncertainty around the changes and the financial commitment that will include students who commence study in 2014.

VU's Vice-Chancellor Peter Dawkins said:

“As the University of Opportunity we see this as the right decision to make which ensures that domestic students who study in a VU course in 2014 will be able to complete their undergraduate course at the same pre-budget fee level.

“Victoria University continues to be committed to being excellent, engaged and accessible. By removing the uncertainty around university fees for our current and future students this year, we are demonstrating our commitment to accessibility."
