Register your interest in the biomedical research project: Physical Evaluation of Military Tasks.
We are seeking volunteers over 18-40 years old for a study that investigates the physical demands related to the execution of key tasks, such as load carrying and manual handling, performed by military personnel.
It involves attending testing sessions at Victoria University's Footscray Park campus.
To take part in the study, and receive the benefits of free health and fitness testing, participants need to meet these criteria:
- aged between 18-40 years
- no recent injuries that have a risk of reinjury, or will inhibit your ability to complete the manual handling tasks in a normal manner.
You will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire before taking part in the study. This pre-exercise screening tool aims to identify individuals at high risk of sustaining an adverse event during exercise
