Lily began working at VU following her completion of the Bachelor of Business and promoted to Senior Lecturer after achieving her Master of Business. She became an Honorary Professor in July 2017. Lily has also worked in administrative and accounting roles in the private sector.
Lily is passionate about teaching and aims to provide a learning experience which is educational, enjoyable and enduring. Her understanding of VU's students and her ability to motivate and inspire many students, have culminated in a number of awards. These include the prestigious Australian Awards for University Teaching in which she was a finalist; an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning; and recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Peak Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Lily has embarked on a PhD in e-learning and its impact on student learning outcomes. She has presented her findings at conferences nationally as well as in the US and Europe. Her research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals.
