We want to make sure we provide you with the services and facilities you need to make the most of your time while you study at Victoria University (VU). If you need help, advice, a place to play sport or you need space to unwind, we have it.
Activities and facilities
We have a wide range of activities and facilities to help you lead a balanced life and have fun at university.
-
Accommodation: You can live and learn with your mates on campus or seek assistance finding housing.
-
Clubs and societies: We have a great range of clubs and societies on campus. Make friends with people who share similar interests to you.
-
Fitness facilities: Get fit at our on-campus sport and fitness centres. Come for a workout, or take a dip in the pool or train with the Western Bulldogs Football Club at Footscray Park.
-
Internet access: We offer free WiFi internet access on campus. Study outside or in a café, the choice is yours.
-
Learning commons: We have taken a different approach to learning. Our libraries are now integrated with computer labs, 'break out' spaces and cafés for socialising and collaborative learning.
-
Sport: We love sport at VU. You can train with our athletes who went to the Beijing Olympics or with the Western Bulldogs Football Club. You can also represent VU at the Australian University Games. If you're after something more low-key we have lots of social sport competitions where you can have fun with your friends.
-
Children's centres: We have four centres that provide care and education programs for children aged three months to six years. Students and staff of VU are given priority access to these centres.
-
