The Romance of Writing
This event has already taken place.
Come and hear best-selling authors Lisa Ireland and Sally Helpworth discuss women's fiction, at a free event in Keilor, Saturday 11 November.
Lisa and Sally will talk about their own literary journey, and help us consider the questions:
- What is women’s fiction?
- Who reads it?
- What do readers want these days?
- Who writes women’s fiction?
- Why and how have these two wonderful writers moved on from romance to bigger, bolder and braver topics?

Lisa Ireland is the author of The Shape of Us and Breaking the Drought.
Sally Hepworth wrote The Mother’s Promise and The Family Next Door, and many other titles.
