Victoria University and the Western Bulldogs are proud to introduce the newest sporting facility to the West, the Whitten Oval Community Sport Hall, located at the Whitten Oval, 417 Barkly Street West Footscray.
This brand new, state-of-the-art, 4 court multi sport stadium was developed in partnership with Victoria University and the Western Bulldogs and opened in late 2011. The courts have been built to international standard, with high grade lighting, purpose built change rooms and a fully serviced reception area. The facility is lined for Netball, Basketball, Futsal, Badminton and Volleyball.
The Whitten Oval Community Sports Hall options for use are:
- Evening competitions
- Holiday programs
- Clinics
- After school programs
- School programs
- Court Hire - full court or stadium bookings
Opening Times:
- Monday to Friday: 6am to 11pm
- Saturday: 8am to 10pm
- Sunday: 8am to 6pm
