VU’s MBA program ranked number two in Australia

CEO Magazine has released the 2016 Global MBA Rankings, placing Victoria Graduate School of Business (VGSB) in second place in Australia. This represents VU moving up the Australian ladder one place since the 2015 rankings.

MBA Coordinator Dr Colin Drake said "For the third year running the MBA program at Victoria University has recorded a top 3 result in the prestigious British based CEO Magazine ranking of Australian MBA courses.

In a competitive market for talent an MBA qualification is increasingly being seen as mandatory for elevation to the C-Suite. It’s therefore not surprising that CEO Magazine’s 2016 MBA ranking endorses VU’s strong academic program, approachable and highly qualified staff and the benefits of a VU MBA to career prospects."

VU offers a face-to-face MBA experience. Dr Drake believes a contemporary MBA should be as much about building knowledge as building professional networks and relationships. "At VU’s Victorian Graduate School of Business we pride ourselves in working closely with industry professionals such as former Australian Trade & Competitiveness Minister and leading economist Dr Craig Emerson, financial journalist, ABC presenter and founder of the Eureka Report, Alan Kohler and Victorian Tourism Industry Council CEO Dianne Smith, who all hold adjunct Professorships within the school."
