On Sunday night 24 May, five Victoria University Personal Services students won awards at the 2009 Hair and Beauty Industry Awards (HBIA). The prestigious cocktail style event was held at Shed 9, Central Pier on the Docklands.
"Amongst the other top awards, we won first place in Certificate III in Hairdressing...this award has been eluding us for many years so it's a real victory" said Jann Fullerton, Head of the School of Personal Services.
The five awards claimed by VU are:
