The Indigenous round is really important in recognising all the Indigenous players who have come before us, and the impact they've had on our game.
Everyone knows the photo of Nicky Winmar, when he lifted up his jumper while playing for St kilda and pointed to his skin colour. That was a big driver in the change in racism and how Indigenous players are seen within our game.
Being able to recognise them once a year is a great moment in football. It's a big day and I think that's great.
